i know a kid dustin who writes poetry

and shares it with me on occasion

i know a kid jesse who is a racist bigot

and he shares nothing with me


but once in college-- jesse told me dustin was in his poetry class
and had written a poem with me in it

and he shared it with me:

"Or would you like to hear about Brooke?
who is sweet like flesh-covered candy,
not that i would know,
personally"
