i really enjoy having people from out of town here to be impressed with the city that has awed and tormented and enraptured me for all these years.

especially dave. it would have been interesting to have a bunch of the others out here but i really think they would have found a way to ruin it.

i am very tired, but it's like a good tired where i'm not also miserable. happy tired is a whole different thing than hate tired.
